www.modernmanna.org Modern Manna believes that disease could be prevented if we would eat of the Manna from heaven again. It advocates a very simple, natural vegetarian fare (Gen. 1:29) just as God provided His people during their Exodus from Egypt, when He first tried to lead them into the Promised Land. The world is filled with sickness and disease because people are stuffing themselves with excessive amounts of meat, fat, cholesterol, sugar, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs. Many Christians who claim to have put on "the mind of Christ" are unwitting slaves to their appetites and passions. "The world needs today what it needed nineteen hundred years ago - a revelation of Christ. A great work of reform is demanded, and it is only through the grace of Christ that the work of restoration, physical, mental, and spiritual, can be accomplished." (The Ministry of Healing, pg. 143, 1905).
