I was sound asleep, then woke almost ready to scream, I felt like someone was stabbing me in the head. This is what my sister told me about her cluster headache, and for years I did not understand the debilitating nature of the pain she experienced. She told me it was as if someone were stabbing her just above her temple or eye.
